「玉鋼」を鍛錬・火造りし 打ちだされる日本刀
このナイフは 刀鍛冶の日本刀にそそぐ技術や 日本刀が持つ精神をこめ製作いたしましたペーパーナイフ型の刃物です
日本刀同様、焼入れをおこなった後、天然砥石での研ぎで仕上げております
また 鞘には日本の古民家で長い時を経た貴重な「煤竹」をつかい製作、日本の色である藍染めの糸を 鍛冶仕事に使う道具につかう結い方で結んでおります
ひとつひとつに想いをこめた 日本のこころを持つ「一期一会」の玉鋼ナイフです

ー 玉鋼とは ー
日本古来の製鉄技術である「たたら製鉄」により得られる和鋼が「玉鋼」です
この「玉鋼」は日本刀の作刀に欠かすことができません
現在では島根県奥出雲にて「たたら」の技術保存と 日本刀製作の礎として
「村下」によって炎のなかでうまれる貴重な存在です
布都正崇鍛刀場の玉鋼knifeは「玉鋼」を鍛錬し製作しております

ご自宅での保管をおねがいいたします
使用後はケースに刀を納め、幼児の手の届かないところへ保管してください
黒染めによる錆び止めを施しておりますが 時折椿油などを塗布して頂くことをおすすめします
水気などはつかないようご注意ください　また水気がついた際はすぐにふきとってください
『正崇』の銘を裏側にし 鞘にお納めください

Japanese swords are forged from tamahagane (tamahagane steel) and forged by fire.
This knife is a paper-knife type blade made with the skills of a sword smith and the spirit of Japanese swords.
Like Japanese swords, it is finished by sharpening with a natural whetstone after hardening.
The sheath is made from precious bamboo that has spent long time in old Japanese houses and is tied with indigo-dyed thread in the Japanese colour, in the way that is used in blacksmithing tools. - What is Tamahagane -
Tamahagane is a Japanese steel obtained by the ancient Japanese iron-making technique ‘tatara-tekko’
This ‘Tamahagane’ is essential to the production of Japanese swords
Today, it is produced in Okuizumo, Shimane. Today, TAMA-HAGANE is used in Okuizumo, Shimane Prefecture, to preserve the TATARA technique and as the foundation of Japanese sword making.
TAMA-HAGANE is a precious substance produced in flames by MURASHITA.
TAMA-HAGANE KNIFE at Masataka Futo Forge is made by forging TAMA-HAGANE.

Please store at home.

The sword is black dyed to prevent rusting, but we recommend applying camellia oil from time to time.
Please be careful not to get water on the sword, and wipe it off immediately if it gets wet.
Please place the sword in the sheath with the ‘Masataka’ inscription on the reverse side.
